 Can I buy something online and return it to the store?

Our returns policy for online purchases is within 14 days, if you wish to return items to our shop by hand you can, however you must follow all of our guidelines for our online returns policy. The refund of the item will be made online back to your account less the original postage charges. We will not accept returns of any items without the original paperwork, packaging and all of the original labels and tags must still be attached. The item must be deemed by ourselves not to have been used or worn.

 

Can I return pierced earrings?

We will not exchange or refund pierced earrings under any circumstances. Faulty goods will be repaired or replaced.

 

Jewellery Repairs.

It is the nature of jewellery that repairs are occasionally required. We are happy to assist our customers with repairs and replacements to jewellery originally purchased from The Arc wherever possible. Proof of purchase will be required. All repairs or replacements will be charged for plus any postage incurred in returning items to and from the original maker for repair.

 

Can I order items from designers and makers which are not currently stocked by The Arc?

If you would like to order or commission  an item from a designer or maker whom we currently deal with but which is not currently in stock we are happy to assist you, however we will always take a non refundable deposit of 25% of the retail price when the order is placed. Orders will be paid for in full before despatch and these items are not returnable.  We are always happy to assist you with enquiries and obtain quotes for you prior to placing the order so please do contact us.

 

Why has my order taken longer to arrive than hoped?

Please do bear in mind that all of our work is lovingly handmade by individual designers, makers and small businesses, and some of our items are one off pieces. therefore due to the handmade nature of the work we do not hold large quantities of stock or have a warehouse. We will always keep you informed of any delays in your order and try our very best to deliver speedily. We believe that good things are usually worth the wait and hope that you agree with this philosophy.
