Shipping & Return


Our aim is to please you, and you should normally expect to receive you order within 3 – 5 working days, however when we receive your order we will always advise you of the expected delivery dates. Due to the bespoke handmade nature of our stock and the fact that we are working with designers, craftsmen and women as well as small, individual and family businesses there may be occasional extended delivery times. We will always keep you informed and it is worth bearing in mind that beautiful things take time and patience to make but are usually worth the wait.

In most cases we hold limited stock of any item and indeed some items are totally unique and one off pieces, it is possible that an item could be sold at our shop in Chester and online at the same time, the most reliable way to confirm that we have an item in stock is to telephone 01244 348379 or to email enquiries@thearcgallery.co.uk to check and reserve the item before ordering it online.

Return of Goods Policy / Refunds Under the Distance Selling Regulations, if you buy online or by phone, you may return or exchange goods within 14 working days of delivery, with the exception of the following products, all pierced earrings
 or any item which has been made to order specifically for you. Returns are at customers’ own expense. We recommend that you always use an insured, signed for service, as we cannot refund items which do not arrive back with us or which are damaged in transit. All accurately returned products will be credited to the original purchaser’s credit or debit card, excluding all delivery costs, within 7 working days.
 The product you return must be in new, unused, condition with all of the original packaging and all product tags still attached. New and unused means, that there are no marks on the item or damage to the item. We are unable to accept any item with any indication that it has been used.

During November and December the return period is extended to the 10th of January following.

Faulty Goods

In the case of an item that is thought to be faulty, we would ask that you return the product to us using an insured and signed for service, that the item is carefully and properly packaged. The item will be assed and if deemed to be faulty we will either organize a replacement or a refund which will include the return postage, but which will not include the original order postage charges.
