Description

Paul Fielding is a Wirral based wood turner who uses locally felled trees to create his stunning work. Each piece has its own provenance with details of where the tree was felled and why.

The wood is required to be dried out for long periods before work can start turning and shaping the piece, the finished results emphasise the colour, grain, knots and beautiful unique details sometimes including the raw edges and bark.

Finished with Danish oil.
